Vista Brewing invites you to a special live music experience in the beautiful outdoors in Driftwood, Texas for its second annual Outside the City Limits (OCL) Festival, presented by Driftwood Golf & Ranch Club, on September 21. Sticking with the destination brewery’s motto, “Fresh Air, Fresh Beer,” Vista Brewing is celebrating its passion for local music, great beer and farm-fresh food in the scenic Texas Hill Country.

The festival features non-stop live and local music from 1 – 9 PM with an outstanding lineup of local Austin talent playing Americana, funk, blues, rock, indie folk, bluegrass and country. Under the backdrop of a 350-year-old live oak on the OCL Main Stage, festival goers can enjoy shows from Greyhounds, Star Parks and Warm Sugar. The festival showcases a 100% solar-powered stage sponsored by Cam Solar, featuring Batty Jr., Beth Chrisman & Jenn Hodges (of The Frauleins & Carper Family Band) and Steel Betty. Schedule and additional acts to be announced.

In addition to live music at the event, Vista’s award-winning brews and farm table food will be served all day. Vista will also be offering limited-release 12-oz cans of its popular Adair Kölsch and Dark Skies Black Pilsner, courtesy of American Canning, with a complimentary koozie (while supplies last).

On the menu are items from Vista’s onsite organic farm, including a locally sourced Cheeseburger on house-made brioche, Pulled Pork Sandwich with Pepper Slaw and Grilled Veggie Burrito with Jalapeno Basil Pesto, among other farm-to-table items. Options for your sweet tooth include Beer Donuts with Vista Honey and artisan popsicles from OddPop ATX.
The festival will once again feature a Texas Wine & Cider Garden, with local producers Lewis Wines and Texas Keeper Cider sampling their products, which are also available for purchase by the glass.
The VIP Lounge includes a stage-side seating area, private bar and complimentary non-alcoholic beverages including Pura Coco coconut water. VIP Pass holders also receive priority parking, express entry and a unique swag bag, including a YETI Rambler.

Presenting sponsor and Vista’s newest neighbor Driftwood Golf & Ranch Club is offering festival attendees a change to test their golf skills with a putting green. The activation will highlight the Driftwood development’s private, 800-acre property, which includes dramatic views of the Texas Hill Country, 70-plus acres of vineyards, and a championship 18-hole golf course designed by renowned architect Tom Fazio.
Vista is proud to share the missions of local non-profits during this celebration of the outdoors. Festival-goers will have to opportunity to visit with representatives of the Hill Country Conservancy to learn about their Hill Country conservation projects and the Violet Crown Trail which begins at Zilker Park in Austin and will eventually stretch 30 miles, deep into Hays County and Driftwood.
Vista also continues its partnership with the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM) during OCL. Guests will be able to stop by their table to chat with “HAAMbassadors” about how their organization supports low-cost healthcare for Texas musicians.
Vista Brewing is partnering with some of its favorite local brands and organizations to bring fun activities to the festival. Throughout Vista’s 21-acre property, adults, children and four-legged friends alike can:
